#Repost @rollingstone ・・・ Today is the 58th anniversary of Buddy Holly’s death. The singer died in a plane crash with fellow musicians Ritchie Valens and J.P. Richardson and pilot Roger Peterson. After Don McLean’s “American Pie” lyrics, the tragic day is now referred to as “The Day the Music Died.” “The magic that Buddy Holly created was nothing short of a miracle,” John Mellencamp wrote about Holly for our list of the 100 greatest artists. “The fact that he died at 22 is just ridiculous. That tells you all you need to know about just how focused and visionary he was.” #labamba #peggysue
