Life in Idaho...Sheepranching

The cabin that my grandmother owns is in Pine, ID along the Boise river. Just across the river from where her cabin is there is a large meadow where the sheepherders bring sheep to feed. Not too far from that meadow is an open area where the sheep are gathered and then moved to other feeding grounds and back to the ranch to be sheared. Larry LaRocco is running for US Senate to represent Idaho and part of his campaign he is "working for Senate" where he works along side Idahoans doing the jobs that they are doing from the job of a sanitation worker to working on a sheep ranch (not earning large fees working as an attorney). I have not made up my ind for the election, but this episode about working on the sheep ranch says a lot about Idaho and where we come from as a people and what we need to remember in our high tech world.
