Fiesta Bowl thoughts...again

On the way to work I had a thought while listening to a -Fountains of Wayne- song, "All Kinds of Time". The song is about football, and I thought it fit the end of the Fiesta Bowl perfectly. I pictured in my mind scenes from the drama at the end of the game. Here are the lyrics (I added some comments about the scenes that I pictured).

"All Kinds of Time"-Fountains of Wayne

The clock's running down
The team's losing ground

To the opposing defense

The young quarterback

Waits for the snap

When suddenly it all starts to make sense (Zabransky before the 4-18 Hook & Lateral)

He's got all kinds of time

He's got all kinds of time

All kinds of time

He's got all kinds of time

All kinds of time (Execution and Hook & Lateral)

He takes a step back

He's under attack

But he knows that no one can touch him now

He seems so at ease

A strange inner peace

Is all that he's feeling somehow (the set up and execution of Perretta's pass to Schouman)

He's got all kinds of time

He's got all kinds of time

All kinds of time

He's got all kinds of time

All kinds of time

[Bridge]
He thinks of his mother

He thinks of his bride-to-be (Ian Johnson highlights)
He thinks of his father
His two younger brothers (Derek Schouman/ Jared Zabransky highlights)
Gathered around the widescreen TV

He looks to the left

He looks to the right

And there in a golden ray of light (Statue of Liberty execution multi angles)

Is his open man

Just as he planned

The whole world is his tonight (Petersen/ Zabransky/Johnson shots from end of game)

Not sure who has access to some great footage, but it would be cool to see. If you haven't heard the song, listen to it before passing judgment.

GO BRONCOS!
